TRM International are delighted to be working with a Global Fashion Brand and are intrigued to hear from Security Architects that would be keen to own the security principles, policies and processes for their Multichannel Transactional Systems, where you will be working alongside other architects across the Multichannel architecture team.
This role will define the strategy of InfoSec across Multichannel Transactional Systems, creating security roadmaps, contributing to the security aspects of a solution design through technical workshops, ensuring solution designs are in line with the wider security policies and guiding the technical implementation of security, ensuring best practice, and monitoring of compliance. The Information Security Architect will implement industry best practice in infrastructure, networking and security, including in the cloud.
Responsibilities *include but are not limited to:
Guide technical teams as they implement high level security architecture principles as part of solution designs
Radiate enthusiasm to continually improve what we already do, with an eye on the next big thing by researching and working with the technical teams to deliver solutions from concept, to prototype and to production
Work with peers in the architecture practice within the company, technical delivery teams, project teams, external partners, and other key stakeholders.
Create an environment where security considerations become first-class concerns throughout the entire SDLC
Mitigates existing security concerns by assessing existing and new systems against a predefined set of “security best practice” criteria
Instill best practice methodologies and processes in the architecture practice and technical delivery teams
Embrace working as part of the team to ensure that our applications and technological infrastructure are not only working to the highest standards possible but to implement forward thinking solutions to ensure they continue to work long into the future in line with business growth
Engage project and technical delivery teams to foster security conscious practices
Leverage your deep knowledge to assist technical teams with security implementation
Perform regular reviews of security practices to keep up to date with industry best practices
Key Skills:
Excellent technical skills in infrastructure, networking, and security
Experience collaborating with multiple teams across multiple locations
Demonstrable experience using a wide range of AWS products
An understanding of all the main cloud providers and being able to compare and contrast them including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OpenCloud
Experience with architectural and security best practice, standards, and frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST and maintaining solutions to legal requirements including GDPR
Previous experience of implementing necessary security scans (PCI, Penetration testing) and owning actions/risks identified
Experience with inputting into and implementing system designs that are highly available and scalable and being able to prove scalability/availability using load testing and other techniques
