TRM-International are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity. Are you a Compliance Professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of Europe? We are hiring for a flourishing payment institution in Luxembourg which is looking for a Compliance Professional to join their team!



As a Compliance Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide the AM/MLRO with regular and pertinent reports on compliance function oversight and management.

  • Develop and maintain an effective AML/CTF framework by creating and implementing standardized policies and procedures.

  • Serve as the primary contact for all AML/KYC team or compliance member escalation issues.

  • Perform KYC document reviews during onboarding and continuous due diligence.

  • Aid in the investigation and reporting of suspicious transactions and activities.

  • Contribute to enhancing organisational processes.

  • Assist the Authorized Management with any ad-hoc requests or issues.

  • Stay up-to-date with compliance developments and market trends and apply this knowledge to our company.

  • Organize and lead multiple staff training sessions.



To be successful in this role as a Compliance Professional, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law and/or Finance.

  • Previous authorization by the CSSF as a Compliance Officer would be advantageous.

  • Completed M1 and M2 in Compliance from Luxembourg House of Training (M3, CFE or CAMS is a plus).

  • Relevant Compliance experience or a proven career in AML/Compliance with an extensive knowledge of related regulatory requirements, particularly in Luxembourg and the EU.

  • Experience in Financial Technology.

  • Possess a strong understanding of the banking and payment sector.

  • Expert knowledge of European and Luxembourg legislation.

  • Fluent in English and either French or German.

  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in Luxembourg and key regulatory regimes, including an understanding of FATCA and CRS requirements.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.

  • A team-oriented mindset and effective organizational abilities, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
