TRM-International are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity. Are you a Compliance Professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of Europe? We are hiring for a flourishing payment institution in Luxembourg which is looking for a Compliance Professional to join their team!
As a Compliance Professional, you will be responsible for:
Provide the AM/MLRO with regular and pertinent reports on compliance function oversight and management.
Develop and maintain an effective AML/CTF framework by creating and implementing standardized policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary contact for all AML/KYC team or compliance member escalation issues.
Perform KYC document reviews during onboarding and continuous due diligence.
Aid in the investigation and reporting of suspicious transactions and activities.
Contribute to enhancing organisational processes.
Assist the Authorized Management with any ad-hoc requests or issues.
Stay up-to-date with compliance developments and market trends and apply this knowledge to our company.
Organize and lead multiple staff training sessions.
To be successful in this role as a Compliance Professional, you should have:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law and/or Finance.
Previous authorization by the CSSF as a Compliance Officer would be advantageous.
Completed M1 and M2 in Compliance from Luxembourg House of Training (M3, CFE or CAMS is a plus).
Relevant Compliance experience or a proven career in AML/Compliance with an extensive knowledge of related regulatory requirements, particularly in Luxembourg and the EU.
Experience in Financial Technology.
Possess a strong understanding of the banking and payment sector.
Expert knowledge of European and Luxembourg legislation.
Fluent in English and either French or German.
Knowledge of the regulatory environment in Luxembourg and key regulatory regimes, including an understanding of FATCA and CRS requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
A team-oriented mindset and effective organizational abilities, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
