As Development Operations Manager you will join their Transactional Systems team
who nurture a culture of “people first” across their technical teams, including ensuring that they, proactively seek out the development needs of their people.
The role will play a critical part in working with multiple Product focussed teams, helping them to take an approach to delivery, that contains a consistent set of fundamental “pillars” to allow for an element of consistency in the way success and resource needs are measured.
Your key responsibility as Development Operations Manager will be to improve employee engagement and implement the correct surroundings for a developer to be creative and enjoy coming to work every day. You will need to maintain a set of common principles, processes and best practices, to support Product Managers/Owners to deliver in a consistent manner, in line with a SAFe approach to software/product delivery. You will also be responsible for adopting a data-driven approach to
analysing resource availability, resource utilisation effectiveness, reporting frequently to the Senior Development Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, with a number of years experience in a Development Manager, Resource Manager or people focussed development role. You will have been in previous roles, that have involved guiding discussions and providing clear, timely, proactive information to senior stakeholders as well as a proven track record, at managing and working with complex JIRA environments at an Administrator level.
