As Software Engineer you will be responsible for the development of new and existing applications. The primary focus of the development will be PHP applications sitting on MySQL databases. You must be passionate about software development and be able to collaborate with and influence people at various levels with the ability to explain concepts.
We are ideally looking for someone with professional PHP development experience as well as exposure to working with AWS.
Day to day your role as Software Engineer will involve developing and maintaining services, applications and user interfaces; Testing and deploying software, as well as, collaborating closely with the Product Manager, Software Architect, Product Owner, and Problem Analysts to ensure that work is actioned in a timely and efficient manner.
Technology stack: PHP, JavaScript , jQuery, Go Lang, Node.js / TypeScript, Python, Cross browser CSS, XML, JSON, MySQL, MSSQL, Git / Github / Sourcetree / Bitbucket, Responsive HTML.
To fulfil this role you will need a solid understanding of Object Orientated programming concepts, design patterns, frameworks, as well as a willingness to adopt Security conscious coding.
