Senior Infrastructure Engineer / FinTech - £130,000 - £160,000 + Bonus - London

As the Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the FinTech’s infrastructure is secure and scalable. Responsibilities of a Senior Infrastructure Engineer:

• Oversee and manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and applications.

• Work closely with other teams and departments to ensure that infrastructure aligns with business needs and goals.

• Lead the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the highest quality of service and value for the company.

• Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to support efficient and effective management and maintenance of systems.

• Mentor and train other members of the infrastructure team to develop their skills and expertise in IT infrastructure design and management.

You Should be able to Demonstrate as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer:

• Education to a degree level.

• Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure.

• Robust analytical abilities.

• Proficiency in coding and scripting, such as Python and Powershell.

• Competency in systems design.

• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and reporting tools.

• Experience in managing IP-based networks.

• Expertise in IT infrastructure transformation.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various infrastructure platforms.
