Trading Assistant Responsibilities:
Monitoring and operating trading platforms which run 24/7.
Spotting inconsistencies, errors or unusual behaviour.
Derive valuable insights into customer, counterparty, and market dynamics.
Maintain effective communication with traders, counterparties and trading venues on an ad hoc-basis.
Helping troubleshoot issues that arise in the trade cycle.
Collaborate with developers and traders to enhance the functionality and performance of the platform.
Skills to Demonstrate as a Trading Assistant:
Education to BSc level, ideally in a mathematical or scientific subject.
Proficient with the microsoft stack.
Ability to come to grips with new applications quickly.
Comfortable making informed trading decisions.
Knowledge of SQL is desired but there is the opportunity to learn on the job.
Exposure to the latest technology and software.
