IT Support Technician - Kent




Our client is an established MSP and IT Consultancy. They have a new opportunity to join their team. The need is for someone who is customer focussed and experienced in giving a first-class IT support service to resolve client issues.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and prioritising service tickets, keeping records of work completed

• Providing technical support remotely or on site when necessary

• Monitor & action compliance status and vulnerabilities

• Assist with the implementation of Microsoft 365 and the implementation of best practices

• Regularly assisting with preventative maintenance checks of IT infrastructure both internally and for our customers.

• Assisting with the construction and implementation of IT contingency, migrations and upgrade plans and projects.

• Working to ensure that any data breaches are reported promptly, handled efficiently and through the appropriate channels.

Ideal Profile:

• A Level (or equivalent) IT or Computer Science or previous experience in a support role.

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Intune, EntraID

• Experience supporting Windows and Mac operating systems

• Previous experience in support

• Able to build relationships with clients

• Excellent trouble-shooter with an eye for detail.

• Willingness to learn new skills, products and services.

• Linux OS, Hardware Firewall Configuration, ConnectWise Manage, • Knowledge of DHCP, DNS and Windows AD would be beneficial

Driving license and your own car which you are willing to use for work purposes is essential
