Java Developer - Fintech - $70,000 - $100,000 + Bonus - Denver

TRM International is excited to be hiring for a leading FinTech organisation. We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join an expanding team in a stimulating and fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• 2 years UI/UX experience using Web-based frameworks. e.g.. React

• 2 years experience working with automated testing/mocking frameworks e.g. Junit/JMockit.

• 2 years experience working with database technology and integration e.g. NoSQL/SQL.

• 2 years experience with Linux OS.

• 2 years experience with CD/CI processes & technology e.g. Git/Jenkins/Artifactory.

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

• Experience working in financial, market data or insurance sectors is preferable.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust and scalable java based systems to support the firm's trading, insurance, and investment operations.

• Work in close collaboration with traders, quantitative researchers, and technology teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and real-time accessibility.

• Developing and testing software.

• Create data quality checks and validation processes.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in the FinTech sector.

Location:

The position is primarily a remote role based in Denver; however, candidates willing to work in the New York office and open to relocating to Denver in the future are also welcome.
